4 simple ways to make the most of your health & looks

Do you feel that spring is taking over your body? Do you want to feel natural, beautiful, energetic and confident about yourself? The Sun is finally out and you have this overwhelming feeling that you need a fresh new start. The easiest way to feel amazing and show off your natural beauty is when you do things that make you fulfilled and above all, happy.

How strong is your hair?

One of the first steps to feeling gorgeous is to have a haircut that fits your face shape, avoid chemical treatments, keep it natural and cut off dry ends. Keratin works wonders to your hair, since it is full of protein which will help your hair grow healthier and stronger. Make a hair mask with natural ingredients, or just take a quarter of a cup of warmed coconut oil, apply it to your hair and leave it for at least an hour, wash it off and you will see the results.

Why should only Twilight characters glow?

One of the most important things we should pay attention to is our skin because it directly reflects our age and health. If we take a look at a face mapping technique, we can find if there is anything potentially wrong inside our bodies. Wash your face first thing in the morning and then use a good moisturizer that suits your skin type. Have you ever tried making your own natural face mask? Mash one half of a banana, mix in a tablespoon of orange juice and tablespoon of honey, apply it to your face and wait for 15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water and you will see the healthy glowing results.

Do you make excuses?

The prime time of your “beauty sleep” should be from 7-8 hours a day. If you sleep less, it can reflect on your skin and of course on your energy level. A good night sleep prevents sagging and wrinkles, it gives a glowing complexion and removes puffy eyes. Start your day with a healthy breakfast. A good combination would be carb, fiber and some protein.  Sounds like a cliché but oatmeal is great because it contains beta-glucan which can help you to lower cholesterol as well as your blood pressure. One of the healthiest meals you could prepare would be tofu with added organic calcium which has 205 mg of calcium that helps your overall body stamina.

More vegetables and fruits are full of vital nutrients and combined with at least 6-8 glasses of water flushes out all the harmful toxins from your body, and it can increase your skin's elasticity. Going to school or work on foot is great for boosting your circulation, improves your sleep and affects your mental health. On your “lazy day” take a bike and just ride along.

Is it really that bad?

Time to put on your running shoes and go outside! The weather is great and you will feel much better. Go to a nearby park and do couple of exercises. Do squats, push-ups, pull-ups, jump a rope as a great warmup exercise before any workout. Park bench step-ups are also good for your abs and legs. Put your right foot on a bench, step up and down with your left foot and put it next to your chest, and then you can do the same with your right foot, repeat it for 20 times and that’s it!
Have goals and be concentrated on what you want and what makes you feel happy and healthy. Don’t forget to smile and laugh a lot, because it is healthy and it can boost your energy and happiness to the maximum.
