Happiness this week is... #46

Spending a wonderful week with my family in Sussex! Me and my mam kept laughing at how similar I am to her now, i.e. a total control freak in the kitchen!

Buying a bunch of essentials really cheap in Superdrug for my trip to France, I think I'll show you in a post 'cos I absoluetely swear by Superdrug products! They are super affordable, cruelty free, smell fab, and actually work for my skin.

And the smoothest ferry ride I've ever been on! Ferries usually make me feel quite ill but I was pretty much fine this time, even though it was six hours! I have never ever ever seen the sea so calm (and neither has my dad so he says!) it was bizarre!
Seriously look at how smooth the sea is?! Dad said it looked like jello...whatever that is...
Arriving in Nantes to scorching hot weather! It's my first time in Nantes so yesterday was super exciting, dad and I went exploring to find where my work is, and walked around the city for ages. It was Gay Pride in Nantes today which added to the exciting atmosphere!
Also so happy to be living near La Loire! I love living near water.

Super lovely, helpful, French people. I always forget how unbelievably kind they are. Although maybe their smiles and laughter is AT me not with me because of my appalling French... although they seem to be understanding me so far!
A strangely crooked building.
Meeting my host family for the summer! This is my first time staying this long in a different country without my family, but the family I'm staying with are also lovely and kind! They have a beautiful house, and are being so kind and generous! I am very happy and lucky to be staying here :-)

Feeling excited for all the things to come!!

Well I've rambled on A LOT, I hope you don't mind! Ramble on about your week please? :-) and let me know what kind of posts you'd like to see from France, I'm sure I'll collect up a ton of photos over the next couple of months! Peace and looove xo
