Student Life || Introduction

Finally back in Portsmouth and I can't wait to get stuck back into uni! So many bloggers write up 'student life' tips etc posts coming up to the start of uni, and to be honest, I find them all very generic and samey. Except from actual student bloggers whose main focus on their blog is student life, I like these blogs! I want to add my own to the web world but not just the same old lists, 'cos to be honest a lot of these "what to pack" posts are mostly common sense! Although saying that, I didn't pack too well when I started last year...

I have ideas jotted down for a new series of student life posts that will hopefully get started in the next week! They're going to be more advice based on things I didn't get right, or maybe I did get right, along with all the sarcasm in the world. The point of this post was to get it introduced and to share these few random student life posts that I wrote last year, and they are far from great, but they are a bit different and if you are new around here you might like to catch up :)

Packing for uni

Things no one tells you about student life
This is another sarky list, and is actually things no one tells you. They're also mostly unimportant, naming house ghosts is the standard these days.

Things I've learnt at university

How to make your uni house more homely

My biggest bit of advice to be honest is do it yourself! Everyone's experience is different and no one can tell you what to do to make it better, it's something you just gotta muddle through! There's no right or wrong way to do it! And good luck if you're starting this year! So jealous of you freshers!

  1. Just discovered your blog, going to have a read of these posts now! I'm four days into my fourth year of uni, but I still love seeing what advice people share about uni and how their experiences compare with mine.
