This week happiness is... #3

Getting a few days away from my home town and staying with my friend in Birmingham. We didn't get up to much, didn't go into town or anything, just chilled outside in the sun, watched scary movies and slept. Basically all I want from life.

Pizza. And fish fingers. And cheese on toast and beeeaaaans.

Planning for friends to come down and stay with me for a few days. Might drag them into the countryside for a bit of a walk, seeing as there isn't much else to do here.

Starting and finishing reading Tampa - I read it for the bloggers book club (feel like i'm being super extra-curricular like back at school!) so I won't talk about it on here yet...

Chinese take away!

The #bloggersdoitbetter chat on twitter - chatted to some super lovely people this week and finding some great new blogs to follow! My new fave this week has gotta be Paperback Planes.

Buying new watercolour paints. My sister has all my art bits so I just had an old sketchbook and some pencils left. But now that I'm getting back into art I want more than pencils! My lovely mama bought me some new pens, which means I've figured out that drawing with pens seems to suit me better! And now I just need to get used to using watercolours again.

Question tiiime ;) what's made you happy this week? I honestly do want to know I'm not just adding this in to look like a good blogger... and I reply to comments! Go on, scroll back and check.

  1. I've heard about Tampa, I want to read it but I'm not sure if I want to if you know what I mean?! ha

  2. I love adding questions to the end of my posts :)
The countryside always makes me happy. But, I think the BLT sandwich and pancakes we had on Saturday made us super happy this week!

  3. Same I love the interaction!:) food always makes me happy, had a jam donut from greggs today was the best thing ever! x

  4. You should read it! It is weird I wasn't sure but why not?! It's horrifying at first, then you get used to it and it's OK x

  5. What made me happy this week? Getting the release date from my job so I can start my new job! WOO! Free!

Oh my gosh you linked me! I don't think I've ever been linked before! Thank you so much and I'm so happy you enjoy my little corner of the internet (:

I really like this idea of posting what made you happy during the week. I might snag it - linking back to you of course! This week it would definitely have to be wine night, slam poetry at stellas, and the beautiful weather we've been having here!

I haven't heard of that book before but it sounds interesting. I look forward to reading what you thought about it (:
