Home away from home

I actually think my room at uni is more homely than my room at home! At home it's really pink, and really bare 'cos I'm hardly there. But my room in Portsmouth is much more messy and lived in! I haven't got long left living here - only until July. I'm going to be so so sad when we leave this house. We've almost scored a house for next year and the house is much nicer than this one and cheaper. But this was the first house I've lived in without my parents living there with me so it's pretty damn special. And I was so lucky that the people I've lived with are three of my favourite people now.

Didn't even make the bed before taking a shot. My paper lightshade was a Christmas present from my housemate - she knew I wanted to make my room more cosy and found this for me :) gonna miss this room!

When I move into the new house I'm gonna bring everything I had with me and make my room super cosy straight away. With all my stuff around me, a cuppa and my housemates, I'll feel at home easy.

  1. I think the best thing about university rooms is how homey they become so quickly, especially as they look so soulless and empty when you first move in.

  2. Yours looks a lot more homey than mine, which reminds me I need to tidy my room haha!
