Out in Portsmouth

ASOS asked me to get involved with their Student Lowdown project and suggest student hotspots in my university city, Portsmouth. I've posted some on twitter and some on instagram and wanted to do a little post to sum up some of my favourites. Portsmouth has so much to it, there is still so much I haven't done here!

My favourite place to go is Albert Road, for sure. I haven't walked the whole length of it yet but what I've found I love :) there are tons of charity shops, some vintage stores (which I haven't found yet!) and a fair few other quirky stores! I've already been to the fancy dress shop a few times, and Bored of Southsea is a great little shop. The pubs down there are The One Eyed Dog, The Fat Fox, above which is a place called The Atrium which is small and cosy and does the best cocktails! Another great one is Little Johnny Russel's - it's a bit weird and quirky, good if you like seeing different sorts of people around :)

ASOS also kindly asked me to choose an outfit that suits my style at uni and I'd say this sums it up pretty good. If I have a 9am lecture I will rarely shower before (it's just too early, i'm sorry) so a beanie is perfect to cover up messy bed hair! The rest of the outfit is just loose and comfy, these trousers actually look and feel like pajamas! I don't really dress up nice ever here, it's all about comfort for me so this is perfect :)

I haven't met any other bloggers who go to Portsmouth university yet, any out there? :)

  1. Ahhh a fellow Portsmouth Uni student / blogger! I used to live off Albert Road, definitely my favourite place to go out. I love Little Johnny Russel's! I know a woman who owned a vintage store in Albert Road called 'Dead Man's Glory' and it was AMAZING, but it's shut down now which is a shame! I don't think I've met another blogger who goes to Portsmouth either - maybe we're the only two!
